Faith Lutheran Junior/Senior High School (commonly referred to as Faith) is a private school located in Summerlin, Clark County, Nevada serving the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The school, which was founded in 1978, serves grades 6–12 and is affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Faith Lutheran is the largest Lutheran school in the United States and the largest non-public school in the state of Nevada. [1]

Athletics

Faith Lutheran's athletics department, known as the Crusaders, are members of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association and the Northwest Division of the Sunset 4A Region compromising high schools on the northwestern section of the Las Vegas metropolitan area. Faith Lutheran joined the Sunset 4A Region, following their promotion to Class 4A before the 2009–10 school year, having previously participated in the Southern 3A Region. Beginning with the 2012–13 school year, Faith Lutheran will play in the newly formed Division II of the Sunset Region, following a realignment within the Sunset 4A Region and the Sunrise 4A Region.[2]
